User Test Results

 

Throughout the mid-point of our project, we were able to test our tour with another group on March 17, 2015 at 9:45am. 

As a result, we learned and faced some challenges of our test run from the following :

 

1. Never assume that everyone uses Twitter and Facebook actively. 

2. Make sure our users are prepared before walking. (ie. have earphones, dress warmly, have QR scanners on their devices) 

3. Our audio was not balanced; Users had a hard time hearing the narration even if it was windy during that day. 

4. We barely used the website for our test group to see. They didn't even knew that we had a website. 

5. Our users couldn't tell which direction to walk towards as they viewed the video. 

6. We also needed to put into consideration their safety as they cross intersections. 

 

Overall, we all had a fun time doing this tour. Hopefully through all the changes we will apply towards the final stage of our project, our users will be able to enjoy it.
